Since the inception of our SAGE Fund for the Elderly in
1987, we have been dedicated to offer direct financial assistance
to deprived and needy elders with the generous donations
received. The fund has been able to help elderly people in
various ways. These include improving their living conditions
and household facilities, purchasing medical items, financing
expenditures arising from special diets during convalescence
and from unforeseeable events or accidents, subsiding expenditures
for day care services, physiotherapy or occupational therapy
services for dementia elders, etc. The fund can be applied
through referral by social workers of welfare agencies at
any time.
